FALL 2024 Season

We believe playing, learning, and having fun in a sport are most important. Our trained and energetic coaches and instructors introduce skills in a fun and progressive manner. Constant encouragement and parent involvement build confidence and self-esteem. Basic skills and having fun are the program's staple component.

Parents are encouraged to be involved by serving as a team coach or team parent. This program focuses on the development of social skills and strengthening the relationship between the parent and child.

Session Format — 55 Minutes

• 5 minutes of stretching and warm up
• 20 minutes of skill development through fun and interactive activities
• 20–25 minutes of exciting scrimmage game

Fall 2024 Season Dates and Information

• All sessions played on Saturdays, with age groups and session times listed below. Total registrations determine exact session times.

• Assessment Day: Saturday, October 5, 2024
• Season Ends: Saturday, November 16, 2024
• Deadline to Register: October 1, 2025

All players shall be placed on specific teams following the assessment day/parent orientation. Sportsplex USA Foundation staff will make every attempt to satisfy parent requests for team placement. Be sure to notify Youth Indoor Soccer Coordinator of your requests during Assessment Day.

Fees

• $99 per player if registered and paid on or before September 13, 2024
• $109 per player if registered and paid on or after September 27, 2024

Equipment Required

Children should wear athletic shoes (cleats are not required) and comfortable clothing. Jersey will be provided. Shin guards are required.

Coaches

All sessions are facilitated by 3 to 4 trained coaches that have passed a background check.

Sportsplex USA Entrance Policy

A $5.00 entrance fee is charged to all patrons 18 years or older. In return, you will receive a token redeemable for $3.00 towards the purchase of any beverage in the on-site Sports Pub.

Sportsplex USA Santee offers youth recreational indoor soccer leagues for boys and girls aged 6 to 15 of beginner to intermediate skill levels. Our youth recreational leagues are designed to offer children a positive indoor soccer experience by focusing on fair play, sportsmanship, fundamental skill training, understanding of the game, a healthy lifestyle and teamwork! All children will have the opportunity to learn the game by experiencing different positions and playing time. All teams are coed.

2026 Winter League Fees Include

• 10 weekly practice sessions. Time frame for practices vary. Practice sessions will START and END approximately 4pm & 8pm
• 10 Regular Season Games (40 minutes each)
• Team assignment / practice day requests can ONLY be made through online registration

• End of Season award for each player

Fees

$149.00 per player

Equipment Required

Children should wear athletic shoes (cleats are optional) and comfortable shorts. Jersey will be provided. Shin guards are MANDATORY.

Volunteers Needed!

Parents are strongly encouraged to volunteer as Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Snack Parents. Coaches will receive assistance from Sportsplex USA Staff.

As an added incentive, Volunteer Head Coaches will receive a FREE registration for their child. There is ONE head coach per team. All Coaches will be chosen by the League Director based upon practice availability and experience. Note, all coaches must pay the full amount for league fee at time of registration. If you are selected as a youth coach, you will receive a full refund.

Coaches are responsible to communicate weekly with their team via email and phone and to attend all scheduled games and practice sessions. Past coaching experience and/or soccer experience is not required. Sportsplex USA staff will provide all coaching materials (Rulebook, Sample Drills, Coaching Techniques).

Sportsplex USA Entrance Policy

A $5.00 entrance fee is charged to all patrons 18 years or older. In return, you will receive a token redeemable for $3.00 towards the purchase of any beverage in our on-site Sports Pub. Applicable during Saturday game days. You will not be required to pay the entrance fee during weekly practice sessions.

You will receive a confirmation email of your registration. Please be sure to list your correct email on the registration form. You will be contacted by your team coach the weekend before the first week of practices. All games will be played using the Sportsplex USA Official Indoor Soccer Rulebook & Park Policies (Youth Competitive Edition). There will be NO boarding, slide tackling, or offsides. Three line passes will be called and play is 6 v 6. Games will consist of two, 20-minute halves. Rosters will not exceed 18 players. We are dedicated to advancing the sport of soccer and to providing all players, parents and volunteers with a positive sports experience.

Session Format

• 10 minutes for stretching and warm up
• 15 minutes of skill development through fun and interactive activities
• 15 minutes of exciting game play
• 5 minutes of closing session, team cheer and snacks

Opening Day is 45 minutes in length and will occur between 8:00am and 3:00pm. Parents will receive an email confirmation after registration and will be assigned an arrival time no later than Wednesday 1/14/26

Volunteers

Following each session, both teams are treated to a cheer and team snacks. Parents are strongly encouraged to volunteer as Snack Parents and can sign up on Opening Day. These snacks are only for your son or daughter's team of 8-10 players. If we do not receive enough Snack Parents volunteers, we will randomly assign parents to bring snack that week. Please inform your coach if you are unable to participate. Thank you!
